GET INVOLVED
Be part of
the movement
for change.
Your gift builds opportunities that last.

At HIRE, we believe no one should be defined by their worst mistake. With your support, people returning home after incarceration can access jobs, stability, and a true path forward. Every contribution—whether financial, in-kind, or through everyday actions—fuels opportunity and transforms lives.
Donations & Financial contributions.
Your donation goes directly toward helping our clients secure employment, rebuild stability, and reunite with their families.

Donate a vehicle
Turn an old car into a fresh start for someone else. Through our partner, Helping Hands Charity Services.
Donating your vehicle is simple and comes with a tax deduction of at least $500. If the vehicle sells for more, you can claim the full sale price.
Volunteer with HIRE.
We’re always looking for dedicated volunteers—whether you’re an individual with professional expertise, a corporate team ready to serve together, or a student eager to learn through hands-on experience. Every hour you give helps people returning home build stability, find employment, and reclaim their future.

Small actions,
big ripple.
Not everyone can volunteer or donate large sums — and that’s okay.
These simple programs let you support our work just by living your day-to-day life.
Recycle for good.
With Recycle From Home, your CA CRV recyclables can be picked up right at your doorstep. Keep the refund for yourself—or donate all or part of it to HIRE to create opportunities and support our community.
Shop & Give back.
When you shop at Ralphs, Kroger, or other Kroger Family stores, a portion of what you spend supports HIRE’s programs. Just log in to your account, enroll in the Community Rewards Program, and search for Hub for Integration, Reentry & Employment (or TG864).
Having a quality full-time job drastically reduces recidivism and saves tax-payers millions of dollars each year.
Orange County alone releases around 50,000 people back to our communities each year in need of services and support.
Barriers to the Boardroom
To help keep up with the need in the community, HIRE has launched Barriers to the Boardroom, helping to lead people from the numerous barriers they have after incarceration to be future community leaders. As we work towards building the county's first ever Reentry Workforce Training Facility (opening early 2028), please help us raise $100,000 to grow capacity and provide people with the wraparound services, mental health, employment readiness and job placement assistance they need to be successful.
